Love it! I haven't really traveled like this intentionally though it has happened unintentionally for me before. And just before I saw your post, I was thinking about writing retreats and how I think they are actually more effective for me when they are in boring places so that I don't feel FOMO about going out and seeing all the sights!

Do you know where you're going next?

Unintentionally intentional - I love this. ❤️ I get that about writing retreats when the purpose is to stay away from distractions and not have the pull to leave and experience the surroundings. It totally makes sense to me, too!

I wrote about trips where the purpose is to truly experience that place, that energy, and even more so myself in that environment. Its the opposite, to immerse myself in that or simply place myself there and see what happens when I allow it. And yes, i do have my next trip booked and well in the planning. I'm keeping the exact location for myself for a little longer, it feels so sweet and tender, as if I'm birthing a new version of myself through it. But it's one of my abs favorite places on Earth, one that's been calling me for almost two decades, and where I'm m returning to after seven (or eight?!) years. My heart is so excited and full already. It's like a metamorphosis. I wonder if you ever experienced anything similar with a place, or maybe sth else that gives you such strong transformative power?
