Authenticity and choosing yourself
Hi Dears,
I’ve been writing a lot in the past two months. ✍️ On Jan 1st I decided to explore LinkedIn and challenged myself to post (almost) daily. I wanted to overcome my resistance to this platform, increase my exposure, and create a more authentic personal brand by sharing openly about spirituality, mindful eating, and my path beside the business world here too. I had a super positive experience with it, got tons of positive comments, and started to build a network of like-minded people. I wrote about my learnings here.
This practice also helped me be back to daily public writing. I’ve been journaling since elementary school and writing blogs since 2009. Wonderfully, parallel to this intention, a writer contacted me for coaching. I’m supporting him to become a published author and he already hit his first milestone! He submitted a short story for a contest. I can’t be more proud of him and I also feel super excited about this journey.
I also invested in working with a business mentor to develop a more authentic voice for my services and reach those to whom I can give the greatest value. Coaching is part of what I do, yet, I support my clients through various tools and modalities on their journey toward wholeness. I’m in the process of birthing an offering that will hold the container for this holistic transformation.
Authenticity (n): the quality of being real or true
In today’s newsletter, I collected to you some of my writings from the past two months around authenticity and choosing yourself.
I hope you’ll enjoy it!

How to train and develop your intuition
Have you had those moments when something just felt right even though it seemed to make no sense from a logical point of view? Your mind can’t see the whole picture and it tries to create stories to fill the gaps. By trusting your inner voice without having the full understanding and then experiencing later why it proved to be the right move, you’re training your confidence in your intuition.
The feminine and the masculine in decisions vs. taking actions
We all have feminine and masculine energies within us. When in balance, we are both able to tune into ourselves, be present, as well as plan on the long-term, and execute. The masculine energy feeds from the mind the feminine energy springs from the heart.
The story of Mindful Kale
It all started around 2009 when I was writing a food blog. Today, Mindful Kale is the container of my experience, resources, and knowledge that I offer you to help transform how you live, eat and work and live a truly authentic, fulfilling, and nourished life. Starting from within.
A recipe 👩🍳
Having a cold or feeling low? How to use a delicious soup and cooking to return home to yourself? This soup's creamy texture is not just nourishment for the soul, it's also full of immune-boosting foods. Pair it with mindfulness while cooking and eating or an uplifting podcast (🌿🎧 like Hale Pule’s Ayurveda podcast ) about a topic that fascinates you and changes to a brighter mindset.
Influence your mood from the inside.
Coach recommendations
I’m often asked how to look for a coach. One of the most reliable ways is relying on referrals. Coaches can differ in their specialty, style, experience, and ways of working.

One idea for choosing yourself
Choosing yourself can start with small steps: respecting your values when making a decision, listening to your gut feeling against societal expectations, sharing your novel opinion at a meeting, or taking a lunch break instead of eating at the desk if it matters to you.
What small step you can take today to honor who you are?
